Style imitation has always been a fun little exercise for me.  But I feel like in the end, my love of heavy linework shines through and you can tell it's me.

I've also been watching a lot of Gravity Falls lately, basically plowing through the series over the course of a few weeks.  So there's that, too.

The Great Blue Sea

Recently, I played through Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea.  It was very cute and very unsettling and very sad.

Needless to say, I liked it a lot.

14 Years

Due to painting and recarpeting my room, I had to go through a ton of old stuff.  I found a notebook from elementary school and in it, some drawings I'd done when I was 9.  I don't know why I felt compelled to redraw this one, but I just sorta did.

In other news, I finally buckled down and made more professional portfolio site!

I was just away for a few weeks in CA, visiting friends, selling art, and making puppy eyes at prospective employers.   Then I came home to more home construction that put me out of commission for another week.  But now I'm here and ready for action.
